How To Care For Your Wraps
With proper maintenance, your reusable food wraps can last up to a year or more. Follow these three simple steps to keep them fresh, clean, and perfectly sticky.
1. Wash in Cold Water
Always use cool or lukewarm water. Hot water will melt the protective wax coating. Apply a mild, eco-friendly dish soap and gently wipe the surface with your hands or a soft sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
2. Air Dry Naturally
Shake off excess water and hang the wrap over your faucet, a drying rack, or a clothesline. Let it air dry completely before folding and storing. Never wring out the fabric or place it in a machine dryer.
3. Store & Refresh
Fold dry wraps neatly and store them in a cool, dry drawer away from heat sources. If the wax begins to look tired or cracked after months of use, you can easily refresh it by placing it on a baking sheet in a warm oven for a few minutes.
